October 18, 2026 | Dawson Creek, BC

Yesterday, the people of Dawson Creek made their choice, and I respect that decision. I congratulate Dwaine Dilworth on his election as Mayor and wish him and the new Council success as they take on the important work ahead.

To everyone who supported me, volunteered, shared ideas, knocked on doors, encouraged conversations and cast a ballot — thank you. I am truly grateful.

Throughout this campaign, I had the privilege of hearing from residents who care deeply about our community. We talked about water security, public safety, responsible financial management and the future of our city. Those conversations mattered, and those priorities still matter today.

While the election didn't end the way we had hoped, my belief in Dawson Creek and its people hasn't changed.

Our community's future belongs to all of us, not just those elected to lead it.

I encourage everyone to stay informed, stay engaged, ask questions and continue contributing to the conversations that shape our city.

Thank you for believing in me, for sharing your hopes for Dawson Creek and for being part of this journey.

The campaign may be over, but caring about our community never ends.
